The Mallorca Activities team recently attended the Annual 'Sports Fair' held at the Son Moix Sports Centre in Palma. Hundreds of sports and activities were represented there and were handing out information about what there is to do in Mallorca.
There was an emphasis on children's activities and a huge variety of different sports and activities were available for children to try out. There was climbing, abseiling, obstacle courses, shooting, fencing, paddle, football and much much more.
Meanwhile in the swimming pool inside the centre, thousands of Mallorquin swimming enthusiasts were making history. The Guinness World Record for the Swimming Relay with the most number of participants was broken over a period of 24 hours. More than 3000 people took part in the relay breaking the record previously set in Portugal. The relay went on for 24 hours and saw swimmers of all shapes and sizes doing their part for the charity 'projecte Home'.
